So for our first week at Webb...we didn't really do anything and it was awesome. No classes, went to the beach, no less than 3 parties, and saw "District 9". If only it could go on...

Unfortunately it can't. I get 2 AP's first thing tomorrow =.=

Also I talked to some people this week and caught up and everything. Since it's junior year, I asked about careers and such too and was really disappointed by the people that wanted to do things but felt like they couldn't. As much as I don't like Webb, I will admit that it's a good opportunity for life and career. I also feel like people shouldn't tell themselves "I can't", especially in high school. I do understand that it's scary to face the prospect of being poor because you failed as a writer or artist or actor and how scary it is to face the mass of classes and competition to be a doctor or lawyer or whatever. I can't say that everyone who tries for their ideal future will succeed. But I feel like no matter how hard it may be, it's better to go for you're dream rather than half ass your way through life and be miserable or just halfway content.
